• Social media account access details (for Rendezvous clients)

• Deliver the services you have engaged us for

• Third-party service providers necessary for delivery of our services (Paystack, Vercel, Convex, Clerk, Cloudflare, Resend, Cloudinary) — these providers are contractually bound to handle your data securely

We do not share your personal information for advertising purposes or sell it to data brokers under any circumstances.

• Active client data is retained for the full duration of our business relationship.
• After termination of services, your data is retained for 12 months for accounting and legal compliance purposes.
• After 12 months, your data is securely and permanently deleted from our systems.
• You may request earlier deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@empresssolutions.co.za — subject to legal retention requirements that may require us to retain certain records.
• Repair device data (diagnostics, serial numbers) is retained for 12 months after collection or repair, then deleted.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/SSL), secure credential storage, restricted access to client data limited to authorised team members only, and regular platform security updates.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Upon termination of services, all Client credentials held by Empress Solutions will be securely deleted or returned within 10 business days.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit, particularly the services we integrate with (Paystack, Vercel, Clerk, etc.).

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at info@empresssolutions.co.za and we will delete it promptly.

We will notify active clients of material changes via email with at least 14 days' notice before the updated policy takes effect.
